About Me

đź’– Meet CeCe: The Woman Behind the Keyboard
Hi there! I’m Tracy, but to friends, family, and now you, I go by CeCe. Welcome to the blog!
I’m a 48-year-old wife and mother, born and raised right here in Northeast Ohio. I consider myself the quintessential Midwest girl: down-to-earth, no-nonsense, honest, and fiercely loyal. I’ve always lived by the belief that if you fight for what’s right, work hard, and stay true to who you are, everything will ultimately work out.
🏠A Peek Into My Life
-
The Crew: I share my home with my wonderful husband, our 23-year-old daughter, a “wild and crazy” chocolate lab/pitbull mix, and three perfectly cut and cuddly cats who brighten every single day.
-
The Brain: I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Kent State University and love diving deep into books on just about any subject.
-
The Passions: I have many! We’ll explore them all here, from my love of reading to my endless flow of thoughts on life, society, and everything in between.
🛣️ The Journey to the Blog
My adult life has been a whirlwind of careers—I’ve been an educator, a debt collector, an executive assistant, an insurance claims adjuster, and even a program assistant at an alcohol and drug rehab facility.
Just a year and a half ago, a major life change occurred when I became disabled. Being unable to work outside the home left me with a huge void—and, honestly, a fear of “dying of boredom.”
I spent too much time scrolling aimlessly on social media until I had an epiphany: I have so many thoughts and experiences rolling around in my head, why not share them with the world?
The blog was born out of a necessity to connect and create.
🗺️ What to Expect Here
I’m not exactly sure where this journey will take us, or what the long-term plan is, but I know one thing: we’ll figure it out together!
This space is dedicated to sharing authentic stories, honest opinions, and deep dives into the thoughts I can no longer keep to myself. I invite you to join the conversation.
Have questions? Feedback? A topic you want me to cover? Please reach out! I’m always willing to hear what others have to say.
I’m thrilled you’re here. Let’s start exploring!
